Dr. Carley Kolb brings advanced surgical expertise to River Landing Dentistry, helping patients receive safe, efficient care for complex tooth extractions and oral surgery procedures. As an experienced exodontist, she focuses on procedures such as wisdom tooth removal and surgical extractions, supporting patients who require specialized surgical treatment.
Dr. Kolb is known for her precise, patient-centered approach and her ability to help patients feel comfortable during procedures that might otherwise feel intimidating. She is also credentialed in moderate IV sedation, allowing many surgical procedures to be completed in a more relaxed and comfortable environment.
At River Landing Dentistry, Dr. Kolb works alongside our team of doctors to provide surgical support across multiple offices, helping ensure patients can receive advanced care without needing to visit outside specialists.
Education & Advanced Treatment
Dr. Kolb earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Detroit Mercy before continuing her education at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
She went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program along with an Advanced Clinical Program in Exodontia, giving her extensive training in surgical tooth removal and oral surgery techniques.
Military Service
Dr. Kolb currently serves as an Active Duty Dental Officer in the United States Navy, where she provides dental care to service members. Her service has included clinical roles at:
- Camp Pendleton
- USS COMSTOCK (LSD-45)
- Naval Station Great Lakes (Chicago)
- Naval Medical Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Charleston Dental Clinic
In recognition of her dedication and service, she was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.

Dr. Kolb works part-time with River Landing Dentistry, rotating between offices to provide wisdom tooth removal, surgical extractions, and advanced oral surgery support for patients across the practice.
